Terms of Use – LCS Fantasy Platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

The LCS Fantasy platform is a free fantasy esports game based on teams competing in the LCS League of Legends championship, organized by Riot Games. This platform is developed and operated by Fracassi Tech (Pedro Luiz Fracassi de Almeida Consultoria em Tecnologia da Informação LTDA, CNPJ 42.781.371/0001-06), hereinafter referred to as the "Company." By accessing or using LCS Fantasy, you, the user of the service ("User"), agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the platform.

2. Description of the Service

LCS Fantasy allows Users to create virtual teams of professional players who compete in the official LCS League of Legends championship. It is a skill-based game designed solely for recreational purposes, where the User’s strategy and knowledge are fundamental to success—no elements of chance or gambling are involved.

There are no cash prizes — the rewards offered to top-ranked participants are exclusively digital items or in-game bonuses with no monetary value (e.g., cosmetic skins in League of Legends), as described in the official game rules.

The service is completely free for Users. LCS Fantasy is available to participants in various regions, but there may be geographic restrictions depending on local regulations. The game is unavailable in countries and territories such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Sudan, Venezuela, Syria, Greece, Italy, China, Quebec, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Users are responsible for ensuring that participation is permitted in their country of residence. Additionally, a valid Riot account is required to play, along with an eligible Summoner Name to receive any rewards.

3. Registration and Access via Riot Account

Access to LCS Fantasy is provided through login with the User’s Riot account. By using the Riot login option, the User authorizes LCS Fantasy to connect to their Riot account.

The Company does not have access to the User’s Riot account username or password, as authentication is securely handled by Riot Games' servers. After authentication, the platform receives only the information necessary to identify the User’s account (e.g., Riot ID or Summoner Name) and enable participation in the fantasy game.

To use LCS Fantasy, the User must meet Riot Games’ requirements for having an active account (e.g., minimum age and agreement with Riot’s terms). If the User’s Riot account is suspended or banned by Riot Games, access to LCS Fantasy may be lost, as login is dependent on that account. Maintaining an active and compliant Riot account is the User’s responsibility.

4. Participation Rules and User Conduct

By participating in LCS Fantasy, the User agrees to use the platform in accordance with its recreational purpose and the rules set forth herein. Any misuse of the platform or violation of applicable laws and regulations is strictly prohibited. In particular, the User must not:

• • Use multiple Riot accounts or other means to gain unfair advantage over other participants;
• • Employ bots, scripts, exploits, or any other automated or fraudulent methods to influence results, scores, or platform functionality;
• • Publish or transmit offensive, illegal, defamatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights (including in team names, logos, or any communication within the platform);
• • Attempt to bypass, access without authorization, or interfere with the LCS Fantasy system—e.g., via hacking, denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineering, or any other form of unauthorized interference;
• • Use the platform for any unauthorized commercial purposes, such as posting advertisements, promotions, or activities unrelated to the context of the fantasy game.

Violations of the above rules may result in disciplinary action by the Company, including suspension or disqualification of the User from LCS Fantasy, removal of leagues or teams created, and even permanent banning from the platform, without prejudice to any applicable civil or criminal liability.

The Company may, at its discretion, monitor activity on the platform and remove any User-generated content that violates these Terms or the game rules.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

All intellectual property rights related to the LCS Fantasy platform and its content belong to the Company or its licensors, including Riot Games. This includes, but is not limited to, the software source code, design, layout, text, graphics, and other elements created by Fracassi Tech for the functioning of the fantasy game.

Additionally, the platform displays licensed content from third parties, especially from Riot Games and the professional teams participating in the LCS. League of Legends, Riot Games, LCS, the names and logos of the LCS teams, as well as any images, trademarks, and other intellectual property displayed on LCS Fantasy, are the property of Riot Games or their respective owners, who have granted usage rights.

Users are prohibited from copying, reproducing, distributing, modifying, creating derivative works from, or otherwise using outside of the platform any content or intellectual property obtained through LCS Fantasy without prior written authorization from the respective rights holder.

5.1. User Content

Certain LCS Fantasy features may allow the User to upload or create their own content, such as team names, logos, or other customizations for their fantasy team. The User declares that they own or have obtained the necessary rights to use all content submitted to the platform and shall be fully responsible for such content.

Users must not use names, images, or any materials in their teams or leagues that: (i) are offensive or inappropriate; (ii) infringe third-party rights, especially copyright or trademarks; or (iii) may cause confusion about any association between their fantasy team and real products, services, or entities.

By submitting any content to the platform, the User grants the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, store, adapt, and display such content within LCS Fantasy. This license is solely intended to enable the normal operation of the platform and the public display of fantasy-related information (e.g., showing team names and logos in leaderboards).

The Company does not acquire ownership over User content but reserves the right to remove or edit any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws, without prior notice.

6. Riot Games Terms and Other Conditions

Since LCS Fantasy is based on a game developed by Riot Games and integrates with Riot services (such as login via Riot ID and official match data), the User acknowledges that their participation is also subject to the Riot Games Terms of Service and other applicable Riot policies.

These LCS Fantasy Terms of Use complement, but do not replace, Riot Games’ terms and rules. For example, the User’s use of their Riot account is governed by the agreements accepted upon account creation, and behavior within League of Legends remains subject to Riot’s player policies.

In case of conflict between these Terms and Riot’s Terms of Service regarding Riot services used within LCS Fantasy, Riot’s terms shall prevail for those specific aspects. Any violations of Riot’s terms or policies by the User may result in action taken by Riot Games (such as suspension or termination of the Riot account), independent of any measures under these Terms by the Company.

The Company is not responsible for any sanctions imposed by Riot Games related to the User’s account, even if such sanctions affect the User’s ability to access LCS Fantasy.

7. Limitation of Liability

LCS Fantasy is provided to the User “as is,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

The Company uses its best efforts to keep the service available, secure, and functional, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. The User acknowledges that LCS Fantasy depends on third-party information (e.g., match data from Riot Games) and external factors (such as internet connection and external APIs). Therefore, score updates, feature availability, or service continuity may be affected by circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use or inability to use the platform. This includes, without limitation, loss of opportunity, loss of data, loss of virtual rewards, disruption of activity, or other intangible losses.

The User acknowledges that participation in LCS Fantasy is voluntary and at their own risk. The Company assumes no responsibility for statistical errors, system failures, interruptions in the LCS championship, stage cancellations, or any force majeure events that affect the fantasy game’s operation. No compensation shall be owed to the User for changes to the game rules, match outcomes, or the availability of non-monetary rewards offered to winners.

8. Modifications and Service Termination

The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue LCS Fantasy, its features, or these Terms of Use at any time, with notice to Users via the platform or appropriate communication channels. Material changes to these Terms may be highlighted. Continued use of the platform after any such changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms. If the User disagrees with any modification, they must discontinue use of the platform.

This fantasy game is offered during LCS championship seasons. Riot Games and/or the Company may terminate or suspend platform operation at the end of a season, during off-season periods, or at any time for commercial, technical, or legal reasons. In such cases, the User hereby agrees that no claim or compensation shall be due for service discontinuation, given the platform’s free nature. The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify Users in advance of service termination, whenever possible.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from the use of LCS Fantasy or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in Brazilian courts, with the Court of the District of São Paulo/SP elected as the exclusive competent forum, to the exclusion of any other, no matter how privileged.

If the User accesses the platform from outside Brazil, they do so on their own initiative and must comply with local laws in their country. The potential unenforceability or invalidity of any provision herein, if declared by a competent authority, shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Final Provisions

Tolerance by one party regarding any breach of these Terms by the other shall not constitute waiver, novation, or forgiveness, nor shall it prevent enforcement of the same at any time. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the User regarding use of the LCS Fantasy platform, replacing any prior understandings or agreements on the subject.
